The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an Extra-Curricular Assistant to join our Extra Curricular team, based between Nelson & Colne College and Accrington & Rossendale College campuses. If you have a passion for working with and developing young people, then this is a great opportunity. We would welcome applications from those with creative, outdoor or fitness/sports activity leadership as well as those with a youth work background. You will be directly involved in the planning and delivery of a range of extra-curricular activities for our learners and must have an enthusiastic and energetic approach to your work. The successful candidate will be primarily based at Nelson & Colne College but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing
- You will be working closely with the Extra-Curricular Coordinator to help plan, deliver and enhance the programme offered to students.
- Direct delivery of activities promoted.
- Supporting students on projects and ambassador programmes.
- Liaising with and providing support to external organisations where necessary.
- General admin tasks and day to day monitoring and evaluation.
