Nelly’s is seeking a Project Estimator to prepare accurate and organized project bids. This role involves completing material takeoffs, gathering supplier pricing, and compiling comprehensive estimates that clearly outline quantities, costs, and scope of work. The Estimator will play a critical role in ensuring that Nelly’s delivers competitive pricing while maintaining the quality and standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project plans (paper or digital) and complete quantity takeoffs
  • Request and compare supplier pricing
  • Develop accurate, detailed project estimates in an organized format
  • Monitor bid deadlines and ensure timely submissions
  • Prepare AIA invoices and notarized lien waivers for ongoing projects

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of estimating experience required (site work estimating preferred)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with CAD files preferred
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills when coordinating with suppliers and the team
