The IT team is expanding, and they are looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will take ownership of a robust, multi-site network landscape. This role offers the opportunity to influence global network design, enhance performance and resilience, and lead initiatives that strengthen security and connectivity across international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the organisation’s global networking roadmap.
- Oversee day-to-day network operations ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex network or security related incidents.
- Analyse alerts from network monitoring and security systems, resolving issues efficiently.
- Configure and optimise infrastructure components including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure strong governance across incident and change management processes, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Use network analysis and traffic capture tools to diagnose performance issues or trace potential threats.
- Apply threat intelligence insights to identify evolving risks and implement preventive strategies.
About You
- 5 or more years of experience in network design, implementation, and optimisation across complex environments.
- Deep technical knowledge of routing, switching, and network architecture.
- Proficiency with security platforms such as Cisco or Crowdstrike.
- Solid understanding of network security models, including zone and policy design.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.
