The IT team is expanding, and they are looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will take ownership of a robust, multi-site network landscape. This role offers the opportunity to influence global network design, enhance performance and resilience, and lead initiatives that strengthen security and connectivity across international operations.
Responsibilities:- Manage and support on-premise and cloud based infrastructure (servers, storage, and network systems).
- Contribute to the design, deployment, and optimisation of infrastructure projects.
- Oversee system availability, capacity planning, patching, and performance monitoring.
- Implement and enhance system security, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and deliver root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including testing and documentation.
- Collaborate across IT functions (networking, security, applications) to deliver cohesive technology solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose innovative improvements to enhance infrastructure efficiency.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
- Experience with virtualisation (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of networking principles, storage solutions, and backup technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
