Nelly Works is partnering with a leading global cloud consultancy on a search for their next EMEA Programme Director. Our client is a specialist Google Cloud consultancy built by people who came up through Google Cloud itself. They run senior, fast-moving teams on mission-critical cloud, data, and AI work — and they're looking for a delivery leader who'll take personal ownership of a portfolio of engagements, not just oversee it from a distance.

Non-negotiable: hands-on experience in the Google Cloud ecosystem and a strong record of delivering enterprise-level Google Cloud projects.

The role:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of cloud, data, and AI engagements — delivery, governance, outcomes
  • Run one or two flagship programs yourself, hands-on
  • Keep the numbers healthy: margin, forecasting, utilization, risk and change control
  • Act as the executive contact for key clients, stepping in above the day-to-day delivery team when needed
  • Build close working relationships with Google Cloud's own account and engineering teams
  • Hire, coach, and grow a team of delivery/engagement leaders
  • Plan staffing and resourcing across multiple regions (US, EMEA, LATAM)
  • Keep evolving how the business delivers — methodology, tooling, estimation, quality

About you:

  • A demonstrable track record delivering enterprise-level Google Cloud engagements
  • 10+ years running complex technology programs, including 5+ in professional services or systems integration
  • Experience owning P&L-style metrics across a portfolio — margin, utilization, forecasting, client health
  • A people leader who's hired and grown client-facing delivery managers
  • Equally credible with a CTO and with an architect — you can flex the message either way
  • Experience running distributed teams across multiple geographies
  • Google Cloud certification (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus, as is time spent at Google or a Google Cloud partner

This is a permanent, full-time position. Please note: sponsorship and relocation support are not available.
