I’m partnering with an AI start up in the UK with a global presence, and a focus on the automotive sector to hire a true hunter–gatherer sales leader. They’re using modern technology to transform how automotive businesses drive efficiency across their operations, working with both large enterprises and high‑growth startups across Europe and beyond. Backed by global investors, they continue to expand across the UK and internationally. The team operates across several hubs, with regular opportunities to meet colleagues in person for planning, collaboration, and team events.
The compensation package is £90-120k pa base salary, £180-240k OTE (50/50 split). Based in London, the role requires 3/4 days a week in office. This is an early enterprise sales hire, focused on opening new commercial territory rather than scaling an established machine.
As UK Enterprise Expansion Sales, you will build demand by winning strategic customers that can drive meaningful volume through the platform. Every sale will likely be bespoke, and each customer will influence how the product, commercial motion, and roadmap evolve. Your job is to validate new enterprise opportunities, prove what works, and then transition repeatable motions into the right hands. If you like complex deals, close collaboration with product teams, and creating new markets from scratch, this is the kind of role that will suit you.
What you’ll do:
- Win early enterprise customers across strategic accounts.
- Prioritise customers that create sustained volume, not just one-off revenue.
- Lead commercial discussions from first conversation through to signed agreement.
- Shape pilots, partnerships, and work cross-collaboratively with Product, Ops, Marketing and various other teams.
- Make sure customer requirements fit with the long-term commercial model.
- Explore and open new segments or use cases in the UK and Europe.
- Turn customer feedback into useful input for GTM, pricing, and product direction.
- Define what can be standardised and what still needs a bespoke approach.
- Keep moving onto the next growth opportunity once a motion is established.
What you bring:
- You’re a top‑performing sales leader with experience selling into insurance or automotive companies.
- You have experience closing large complex deals, with a single transaction value of £500k+.
- Background in a fast-growing technology business.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
- Comfortable partnering with Product and Solutions to shape customer-specific approaches.
- Able to confidently build long term partnerships with senior stakeholders in large organisations.
Benefits:
Incredible benefits that go well beyond standard holiday allowances or a free tea and coffee machine. We're happy to share the full list with you if you join the process!
