We are currently recruiting for a Minibus Driver to provide reliable transport for our staff across our care homes.

The role is primarily focused on staff transport, helping colleagues get to and from their shifts. The working pattern will be approximately 5 hours per day, split between the morning and evening:

  • Morning: Approximately 2.5 hours, transporting staff to work for their 8am start
  • Evening: Approximately 2.5 hours, transporting staff home following their 8pm finish

The role will therefore involve mainly early morning and evening driving, with the exact routes and timings depending on staff transport requirements.

There may also be occasional requirements to transport residents on outings, so we are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, patient and confident in providing a safe and comfortable service to both staff and residents.

This is an important role in supporting our teams to travel safely and reliably to and from work, while also helping our residents maintain their independence and enjoy trips and outings when required.

Requirements:

- Ideally been in a similar line of work previously.
- Reasonably flexible with shifts (availability to be provided a week in advance).
- Must hold a category D1 clean driving licence.
