The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Abbotsleigh Care Home in Staplehurst, Kent TN12 0RB

Contracted hours: 40 hours (to include – every other weekend free, as applicable), 8.30am - 5pm. Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements.

Hourly rate of pay: £13.00

Nellsar is committed to developing and training our staff in order to ensure high quality care is provided to our residents. The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development with opportunities for progression within the Company, including apprenticeships to new and existing staff.

You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:

  • Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
  • Organising and planning weekly activity programmes (within allocated budget) reflecting residents' preferences, and producing a written rota.
  • Updating activities boards around the home.
  • Creating risk assessments for activities and consent forms for families/residents.
  • Producing newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities and liaising with the Marketing team in typing up activities and producing information for newsletters.
  • Supporting residents to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype, and FaceTime.
  • Maintaining skills at a current level and undertaking such training and development as required to maintain and progress knowledge.
