We’re looking for a friendly and confident Receptionist / Office Assistant to be the welcoming face of our home and help keep our busy office running smoothly. Hengist Field is known for its caring atmosphere, strong team spirit and the genuine relationships we build with residents and families.
As the first person people meet when they arrive, you’ll play a key role in creating that positive first impression and helping our home feel safe, calm and inviting.
About the RoleThis is a varied, people‑focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll greet visitors, support residents and families, handle enquiries and provide essential admin support to the management team. You’ll be part of a team that values kindness, professionalism and a can‑do attitude.
What You’ll Be Doing- Welcoming visitors warmly and managing the sign‑in process
- Keeping the reception area tidy, safe and inviting
- Handling phone calls and enquiries with professionalism and care
- Supporting prospective residents and families during visits
- Managing incoming mail and carrying out general admin tasks
- Assisting the BSO, Recruitment Officer and Management Team
- Maintaining confidentiality and following Health & Safety procedures
- Reporting any issues promptly to help keep the home running smoothly
