Location: The Old Downs Residential Care Home, Castle Hill, Hartley Dartford DA3 7BH

Contracted hours: Full Time hours (to include – every other weekend free, as applicable) Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements

We are looking for a positive, motivated, and experienced RGN Clinical Lead to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse who enjoys leading others and delivering outstanding, person‑centred care. As Clinical Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting and motivating our care team while ensuring our residents receive the highest standards of clinical and personal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and support the care team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care
  • Manage and oversee a team of care staff, ensuring safe and effective practice
  • Welcome and admit new residents, including assessments, care planning, and medication management
  • Provide hands‑on clinical and personal care when required
  • Monitor standards of care and ensure compliance with policies and best practice
  • Supervise, mentor, and induct new and junior staff members
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, families, visitors, and external healthcare professionals
  • Manage your workload effectively while maintaining high standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
  • RGN qualification with a valid NMC registration
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the UK
  • Previous experience in a clinical leadership or senior nursing role
  • Up‑to‑date clinical skills and knowledge
  • A compassionate, caring, and professional approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to nurture, develop, and inspire staff
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Confidence liaising with external agencies and healthcare professionals
