As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will enjoy being part of an exceptionally supportive team, welcoming you into providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to the people living at St Winifred's Care Home. We are currently on the lookout for a positive and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Senior Health Care Assistant. We are looking for someone who is deeply passionate about caring for the elderly. You will also need to have a genuine drive to manage a care team responsible for those using our services, including our residents, their families and visitors.

Nellsar is committed to developing and training our staff to ensure high quality care is provided to our residents and the successful candidate will receive on-going training and development with opportunities for progression within the Company, including apprenticeships for new and existing staff.
You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:
- Providing care in accordance with current best practices, policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations, under the direction of the manager.
- Providing leadership to the care staff within the service.
- Undertaking simple wound dressings following completion of specialised training.
- Undertaking the monitoring of vital signs (BP, pulse, respirations, temperature, oxygen saturations and neurological observations).
- Reviewing care plans and risk assessments and completing documentation for new admissions. Report all concerns to management.
- Undertaking all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
