Location: Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home in Dartford, Kent DA2 7EG
Contracted hours: 20 hours (there will be some requirement to cover weekends and bank holidays within the activity team rota). Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements.

Nellsar is committed to developing and training our staff in order to ensure high quality care is provided to our residents and the successful candidate will receive on-going training and development with opportunities for progression within the Company, including apprenticeships to new and existing staff.
You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:
- Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
- Organising and planning weekly activity programmes (within allocated budget) reflecting residents’ preferences, and a written rota to be produced.
- Updating activities boards around the home.
- Creating risk assessments for activities and consent forms for families/residents.
- Producing newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities.
- Liaising with the Marketing team in typing up activities and producing information for Newsletters.
- Supporting residents to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime.
- Maintaining skills at a current level and undertaking such training and development as required, from time-to-time, to maintain and progress knowledge.
