At Nellies Complex Care Ltd, we support children with complex care needs to live happy, active, and fulfilling lives, and we’re looking for kind, energetic, and bubbly Healthcare Assistants to join us. We offer day shifts and waking night shifts, with full training provided, so experience isn’t essential — your personality matters most.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Providing one-to-one care for children with complex healthcare needs in their homes and communities
  • Supporting children with daily routines, personal care, mobility, and independence
  • Helping children attend school, holidays, clubs, activities, and exciting days out
  • Bringing positivity, laughter, and companionship into each child’s day
  • Following personalised care plans and working closely with families and healthcare professionals
  • Supporting with medication, basic health monitoring, and clinical tasks (after full training)
  • Keeping accurate care records using simple IT systems
  • Making sure every child feels safe, supported, and included at all times
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Bubbly, friendly, and caring personalities who love working with children
  • Experience in care or with children is desirable but not essential — we’ll train you
  • Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Basic IT skills for care notes and updates
  • Drivers are preferred to help children get out and about
  • DBS on the Update Service preferred (we can help if needed)
  • Flexible to work day shifts and/or waking night shifts
