We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a well-established, supportive and experienced Speech & Language Therapy team as a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to be part of our team and contribute to the future of our service.

Our team is committed to achieving improved outcomes for children referred to our service, whilst promoting evidence-based practice and embracing innovative ways of working. As a team we pride ourselves on being supportive, and have robust systems of supervision, induction and training in place allowing you to further develop your skills and interests., * To contribute to the provision of Speech and Language Therapy services, administering assessments, writing care plans and delivering therapy for children and young people with a variety of speech, language and communication needs.

  • To work as an effective team member with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • To support in the development and delivery of evidence-based intervention programmes.

  • To organise, plan and prioritise your own workload.

  • To attend relevant training courses, meetings and clinical excellent networks (CENs) related to your areas of interest in order to maintain skills and knowledge required of a Speech and Language Therapist.

This post attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata).
