Providing a qualified, high-quality specialist adult autism assessment and intervention to individuals, carers, families and groups, in line with best, evidence-based practice and trust care pathways for clients with suspected adult autism.

Responsibilities

  • Support peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative.
  • Commitment to collaborative working and actively support and liaise with other health and social care professionals and agencies.
  • Be responsible for holding and managing a clinical caseload to clients referred to the Adult Autism Service and utilise planning and organisational skills, to exercise autonomous assessment, treatment and discharge of clients, within the parameters of the service operational policy and professional responsibility for the planning and prioritising of own workload.
  • Be responsible for organising and prioritising own and others workload in the day-to-day allocation of work.

Benefits

  • This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 p.a. pro rata for part time).
  • This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 p.a. pro rata for part time).
