Overview
Part Time Specialist Podiatrist – Join Our Friendly & Forward-Thinking Team! We are looking for a Specialist Podiatrist to join our supportive, innovative team at NELFT, delivering first-class care across Redbridge & Waltham Forest. You will be part of a service that is busy, dynamic and proud to serve a diverse, multicultural community. From treating foot ulceration to supporting patients with diabetes, vascular conditions, and autoimmune diseases, your skills will make a real difference every day. This role spans clinics, community hubs and home visits, and a driving role is essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist wound care to high-risk patients across community, hospital and domiciliary settings.
- Provide expert treatment in community settings to support patients with complex podiatric needs.
- Create and follow evidence-based care plans to ensure high standards of treatment.
- Mentor and support colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Build strong, positive relationships with GPs, other health professionals and patients to deliver seamless care.
Requirements
We are looking for a HCPC-registered Podiatrist (BSc in Podiatry) with 2+ years of NHS experience, confident in managing foot ulceration and eager to develop your career within a supportive, forward-thinking team.
This post attracts payment for the High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata).

Probationary Period: This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
Induction: New starters join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation. Induction is held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
