Part Time Specialist Podiatrist β Join Our Friendly & Forward-Thinking Team! Are you ready to step into your next challenge? We are looking for a Specialist Podiatrist to join our supportive, innovative team at NELFT, delivering first-class care across Redbridge & Waltham Forest. You will be part of a service that is not only busy and dynamic, but also proud to serve a diverse, multicultural community. From treating foot ulceration to supporting patients with diabetes, vascular conditions, and autoimmune diseases β your skills will make a real difference every day. As this role spans clinics, community hubs, and home visits, being a car driver is essential.
What you will be doing
- Delivering specialist wound care to high-risk patients across community, hospital & domiciliary settings.
- Providing expert treatment in community settings to support patients with complex podiatric needs.
- Creating and following evidence-based care plans to ensure the highest standards of treatment.
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge & contributing to our positive team culture.
- Building strong, positive relationships with GPs, other health professionals, and patients to deliver seamless care.

Qualifications & experience
We are looking for a HCPC-registered Podiatrist (BSc in Podiatry) with 2+ years\\\β NHS experience β confident in managing foot ulceration and excited to develop your career within a supportive, forward-thinking team.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of Β£4,313 and a maximum payment of Β£5,436 per annum pro rata).
