Freelance Sustainability Analyst – Immediate Start
We are working with a leading agency with expertise in sustainability strategy and reporting. They provide a range of services around corporate sustainability strategy, reporting on it, through to communications, PR and content for a diverse client roster. The agency is well established and has built a reputation based around its deep knowledge and experience in corporate Sustainability Programmes and reporting compliance. It\’s known for its consultative approach, well-crafted creative output and the emphasis it places on truly understanding the clients that they work with and communicating their goals with regards to Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. This allows them to advise and consult, whilst producing exceptional reports and communications work that is executed to the highest standard and has meant that they have retained clients as well as winning new ones year on year.
They currently require a Freelance Sustainability Analyst to support their team in assessing sustainability and ESG disclosures and data for reporting. This is a hands-on analytical role, ideal for someone with a strong grasp of reporting frameworks and standards such as TCFD, GRI, SASB, IFRS S1 and S2, CDP, CSRD, and other key standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analysing clients reporting against relevant reporting frameworks and standards.
- Conducting gap analysis, competitor benchmarking, and research to support consultants and account directors.
- Providing insights based on ESG data.
- Collaborating with internal teams to assess client data against sustainability targets.
Requirements:
- Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data analysis, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of frameworks and standards such as TCFD, GRI, SASB, IFRS S1 and S2, CDP, CSRD.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality research and analysis.
