Working with some huge brands including the biggest names within the luxury, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and FMCG spaces, this London-based agency with incredible studio spaces is looking to find a client-centric and super organized Studio Director in a multifaceted and exciting position !
The Studio Director will be responsible for the overall management of the studio spaces, with a focus on maintaining high levels of usage and the revenues generated, while ensuring strong client satisfaction through long-term relationships and efficient processes in studio production . The role involves setting pricing structures, collaborating with operational teams to fulfill client needs, and driving business development by establishing connections with clients and exploring new opportunities for growth. The Studio Director will also work closely with the studio’s core teams to maintain smooth and successful project execution.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, the Studio Director will oversee client expectations and ensure that all shoots and projects proceed smoothly , leading to positive feedback and client retention. You’ll keep in regular contact with clients throughout while working with all relevant internal teams, refining strategies where needed and ensuring clients are aware of broader studio services. You’ll be responsible for cultivating and maintaining a steady roster of retained clients to ensure continued studio usage. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the New Business and Marketing teams to explore new business opportunities that will positively impact the studio’s growth.
The Studio Director will work closely with the various production teams to align their forecasts with the available studio capacity, ensuring seamless communication and proper billing between all departments. They will act as a leader of the Studio’s business, promoting all services to clients where appropriate while also keeping an eye on industry trends and market changes.
From a P&L standpoint, the Studio Director will regularly review and adjust the pricing model for studio spaces and additional services as needed. This includes overseeing packages, discounts, group bookings, and retainer deals. The Director will be responsible for setting and managing the studio’s budget, ensuring that quotes and invoices for both internal and external productions are completed accurately and on time. Regular reporting on profitability, occupancy rates, client billing, and other financial metrics will also be required.
As a leader, the Studio Director will guide the studio teams to ensure client needs are met and the brilliant reputation is always upheld . You will mentor and develop team members, aiming to always improve the services that are delivered for clients and the high-quality creative output from the studios. You should enjoy working in a people-centric role with both internal and external parties and be a natural relationship builder. You’ll also need to be highly collaborative with seamless workflow always in mind and the ability to gather feedback or identify ways in which processes or services can be improved.
