Print and Static Digital Artwork Quality Controller / ( QC / QA)

This role is with an exciting creative agency working on campaigns for their largest accounts which are household name brands. They are looking for someone who comes from a hands on design or artwork background, who is keen to progress their career in a Quality Control / Assurance role focusing on varied OOH / advertising print and digital campaign work. It’s a great opportunity to move your career into an area that is invaluable for many agencies, where you can utilise your knowledge of print and digital artwork campaign rollout / production and really make this role your own.
This agency is a leader in its space and produces high profile ATL advertising through creative, design and production stages. They produce a variety of OOH billboards, bus sides, Digital OOH and online advertising / social campaigns and roll out work across the UK and localise for Europe and the Rest of the World. Quality and accuracy of work is extremely important to this agency as they pride themselves on delivering all adaptions of assets for global campaigns 100% correctly within tight timeframes.
It’s important for this role that you have worked heavily in InDesign and Photoshop to Artwork global campaign work to print and digital ready stages. Whilst you won’t be required to produce Artwork in this role yourself, you will need the extreme attention to detail and knowhow of a talented artworker. The role will see you taking PDF’s that have been produced in the studio and working through a full range of checks before either returning them to the relevant Artworker for amends, or signing off on files. You’ll ensure files are totally correct to brief and have followed the correct master file, that legals and footnotes are current, also that print and colour specs are right and matched, and work through all other final QC checks.
Working on high profile global campaigns in such a fast paced agency, you will need to be able to work quickly and accurately to ensure their high standards are met. The successful candidate will need to be experienced in checking their own and others work. You should have come from a background of producing and also checking highly quality finished artwork accurately and have unrivalled attention to detail. You’ll be given some training in terms of the process and specific checks that you need to follow at this agency, but you should come with a wealth of advertising artwork rollout experience and ideally for both UK and global markets.
The QC / QA will have the opportunity to make a real difference in this role as well as room to progress into checking Motion / Video based output. The ideal candidate will have experience of producing extremely accurate print and web ready artwork and ideally produced a good mix of print and static digital advertising. You will ideally have checked your own and others’ work before and perhaps acted as a brand or campaign guardian. You’ll be used to working to stringent brand or campaign guidelines and have strong communication skills while being used to working to tight deadlines.
