MissionNeko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

Role Purpose

The Director of UK Marketing will be responsible for Neko Health's market presence and growth in the United Kingdom. This is fundamentally a role about orchestration and influence: you will not own media buying, social production, or brand creative directly — those capabilities sit in global Centres of Excellence (COEs). Instead, you will be the UK's primary voice into those teams, ensuring that global investment and globally produced content is briefed, shaped, and activated in ways that genuinely resonate with UK audiences and drive measurable results for our clinics.

You will work in close partnership with the UK Operations Leader, translating global marketing output into locally relevant programmes, and feeding the realities of the UK market - its audiences, competitive landscape, and clinic performance - back into global strategy. The best work will happen when the global machine is pulling in the right direction for the UK, and you are the person who makes that happen.

What You’ll Deliver in The First 6-12 Months

  • Own the UK marketing strategy and annual plan, defining the local priorities, audience focus, and activation calendar that global COEs will be briefed to deliver against.
  • Translate Neko's global brand positioning and product narrative into a UK-specific market story - one that reflects local health behaviours, cultural context, and competitive dynamics.
  • Set the demand generation targets for the UK in close collaboration with the UK Operations Leader and hold yourself accountable to member acquisition and clinic utilisation outcomes.
  • Serve as the UK's primary client to global Centres of Excellence in Media, Social, Insights, and Product Marketing - setting the direction.
  • Work with the Product Marketing COE to ensure product launches, feature announcements, and member communications are adapted for UK regulatory requirements, terminology, and audience expectations.
  • Identify and develop UK-specific marketing opportunities that global teams cannot easily see or activate from a distance - local media partnerships, community programmes, employer health benefit integrations, and regional events.
  • Lead UK earned media and PR strategy, working with communications partners to grow Neko's share of voice in health, lifestyle, and business media - this is one area where local expertise and relationship-building is irreplaceable.
  • Develop relationships with UK health influencers, patient advocates, and community organisations that can extend Neko's reach beyond paid and owned channels.
  • Represent Neko at UK industry events, health forums, and employer conferences as a credible voice in preventive health.
  • Own the UK member acquisition funnel in partnership with global performance marketing - setting local conversion targets, flagging friction points, and directing media COE investment to the moments that matter most.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in senior marketing roles, ideally at consumer-facing companies - ideally across health, consumer tech, or lifestyle.
  • Proven experience as a local or market-level marketing lead within a global organisation - someone who knows how to get the best from central teams rather than building everything themselves.
  • Skilled at writing briefs and directing creative, media, and social teams - comfortable operating as an internal client who sets the agenda and holds others accountable to outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect global marketing investment to UK clinic utilisation, member acquisition, and revenue.
  • Excellent at influencing without authority - able to build trust with global COE leads and make the UK's case compellingly in planning forums and budget conversations.
  • Comfortable with data and measurement - from audience insights and media performance to CRM analytics - and able to use this to sharpen briefs and demonstrate UK marketing ROI.
  • Deep knowledge of the UK consumer and media landscape, with a genuine understanding of how British audiences engage with health, wellness, and preventive care.
  • Experience in a high-growth or scale-up environment, where global infrastructure is still maturing and local agility is a competitive advantage.
  • A passion for preventive health, medtech, or wellness categories.
  • Experience with multi-site or proximity marketing, including geo-targeted media activation and local event or community marketing.
  • Knowledge of the UK employer health benefits landscape and experience with B2B2C demand generation models.
