We\’re supporting a well-known manufacturer of building materials that supplies national and regional housebuilders across the Midlands. Theyre looking for an Business Development Manager who enjoys taking ownership of a territory, puts the work in with customers, and doesnt mind rolling up their sleeves when the job calls for it.

What you\’ll be doing

• Strengthening relationships with housebuilders across the region
• Growing revenue from a solid existing base while creating new opportunities
• Staying close to project pipelines and site activity so youre ahead of the curve
• Working with technical and internal teams to make sure customers get what they need
• Planning your territory and reporting on results in a clear, commercial way

What you\’ll bring

• Experience selling building materials or construction products
• A history of developing accounts in the housebuilding sector
• A determined, focused approach to winning and retaining business
• Confidence dealing with decision makers at all levels, from site teams to commercial leads
• Good organisation and a genuine interest in being out with customers
