Overview
We are looking for a permanent Office Administrator / Customer Service Coordinator to join a small, close-knit team in a busy, fast-paced office environment. This role is heavily administration focused with significant customer contact by phone, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a confident, friendly communication style.
You will be trained on the company’s systems and processes and will work closely with experienced team members. The ideal person is someone we can trust to manage their workload, follow instructions and own tasks without constant supervision.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the location and lack of suitable public transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer calls in a professional, friendly manner
- Provide excellent customer service, gathering accurate information and updating records
- Complete high-volume administrative tasks, including:
- Data entry and updating internal systems
- Scanning and filing documents
- Creating and maintaining physical and electronic folders
- Setting up reminders and alerts within the system
- Follow established processes and a clear chain of command
- Work closely with the wider office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Support colleagues as needed, picking up allocated tasks and completing them accurately after training
