The role of Trainee Account Manager is very similar to a BAA (Buyers Admin Assistant)
With a large portfolio of customers, including some of the UK’s top fashion retailers, they are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious fashion graduate to develop a career in fashion account management within a fast-paced head office working alongside experienced Account Managers to support existing customer accounts.
The most important requirement is to be highly personable with strong organisational skills and be IT literate.
- Role Profile
- Support the day-to-day management of customer accounts.
- Coordinate customer orders, samples, approvals and product information.
- Prepare for customer meetings and manage follow-up actions.
- Liaise with Design, Production and Sales teams to ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Monitor timelines and escape any risks or delays.
- Raise purchase orders, track shipments and support account administration.
- Deliver excellent customer service through accurate, timely communication.
- Learn internal systems, products and commercial processes.
- Candidate Profile
Recent Fashion degree (or due to Graduate soon).
- Organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good Microsoft Office skills Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Previous customer service, retail, administration or placement experience is advantageous but not essential.
You will be based in their Surrey head office and showroom within a positive and friendly team.
