The Studio Operations Coordinator will support the smooth delivery of weddings, events, and large-scale installations through hands-on operational, logistical, and practical support. This role is integral to the successful execution of NSFC events, working closely with the Head of Operations, Head of Events, and the wider events and floral teams.
The role requires a proactive, practical individual with strong organisational skills, confidence working on-site, and the ability to support complex installs and studio operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee studio organisation, storage systems, and general upkeep.
- Oversee inventory management including tracking, storage, loading, and returns.
- Help prepare materials, tools, and equipment ahead of events and installations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Support the Head of Operations and Head of Events with project preparation and execution.
- Assist with project management tasks for large installs and structures, including preparation and timelines.
- Work collaboratively with florists, designers, and events team members on-site and in the studio.
- Provide flexible support across the department during busy periods.
- Assist with contract and in-house installation runs as required.
- Support the construction, build, and breakdown of structures for events and installations.
- Assist with large-scale floral installs under the guidance of senior team members.
- Apply practical DIY and structural skills to support creative designs safely and effectively.
- Support the planning and delivery of weddings, events, and large-scale installations.
- Assist with event logistics including loading, unloading, transport, and on-site setup and breakdown.
- Drive company vans as required for deliveries, collections, and event installs.
- Assist event teams during installations, ensuring timelines and operational plans are followed.
- Support health & safety procedures on-site and in the studio.
- Floristry support skills, particularly assisting during installs.
- Gardening and planting skills.
- Represent NSFC professionally on-site with clients, venues, and suppliers.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
- Be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of events and installations.
- Uphold NSFC’s core values, team spirit, and high standards of service.
- Support other departments and company projects where required.
- Full UK driving licence and confidence driving vans.
- Strong practical and hands-on skillset.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Physically capable of manual work required for installs.
- Experience in events, weddings, installations, or production.
- Floristry, gardening, or planting experience.
- DIY, construction, or structural build experience.
- Project support or site experience on large-scale installs.
