Drainage Technician – Primary focus on domestic and commercial sites, investigating wastewater works, resolving issues for customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Attend sites, investigate & diagnose issues with drainage.
  • Advise customers on solutions, including drain clearance, de‑scaling, root cutting, minor excavation, patch lining, and preventative maintenance.
  • Operate high‑pressure water jetters, CCTV cameras, rods and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Interpret drainage drawings and develop recommendations.
  • Maintain professional appearance and support brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with Regional Development Managers and colleagues to resolve performance or compliance issues.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the drainage sector.
  • Knowledge of plumbing principles (preferred).
  • Experience with drainage tankers (preferred).
  • Valid full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
  • CSCS card holder (preferred).
  • High‑pressure water jetting (HPWJ) certification.
  • Proficiency with mobile telephone, CRM, and standard office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • DBS check required upon onboarding.
  • Ability to work on an on‑call rota providing a 24‑hour service.
