PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Business and Documentation Analyst is responsible for producing high‑quality documentation relating to compliance requirements, control remediation proposals, and operational processes within a defined phase of a transformation programme. The role is delivery‑focused and designed for rapid mobilisation, requiring minimal onboarding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SOX & Control Delivery
- Support SOX 404 activities including walkthroughs, control documentation, and remediation execution proposals
- Clear and concise Process documentation
- Update and maintain Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs), process narratives, and flowcharts
- Assist management in focusing on weaknesses with remedial proposals, evidence readiness when implemented, which meet audit standards
- Quickly assess and document current‑state business and HR, IT, Marketing and financial processes
- Translate existing processes into clear, audit‑ready documentation
- Identify control weaknesses and propose pragmatic, implementable solutions
- Work closely with 6 brands with extended HR, IT, Marketing, and Finance teams in a delivery‑oriented capacity
- Facilitate workshops and walkthroughs to validate processes and controls
- Provide clear status updates and escalate issues where timelines are at risk

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven Business Analyst experience in SOX-regulated environments
- Experience with ERP systems (i.e. Dynamics 365, CRM systems)
- Prior similar contract experience
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SOX 404 and internal controls and compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organised, pragmatic, and outcome-focused
