As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our staff canteen, helping to prepare food, serve customers, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook breakfast items and daily lunch specials
  • Make sandwiches, baguettes, and cold food items
  • Serve food and maintain portion control
  • Provide friendly, efficient customer service
  • Answer queries on menus, ingredients, and allergens
Hygiene & Kitchen Standards
  • Keep kitchen, counters, and dining areas clean and organised
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
  • Wash dishes and clean equipment
  • Store food correctly and safely
Stock & Operations
  • Unload and check deliveries
  • Monitor stock levels and rotate stock
  • Conduct stock takes and support ordering
  • Complete daily food order sheets
Administration
  • Handle card and contactless payments accurately
