About You & the Role The purpose of this role is to ensure that Neg Earth's equipment is maintained and serviced to the highest and safest standard. You will be part of a professional operational team that consistently ensures equipment is prepared to the highest standard, within required timescales and to client's requirements. You will be working alongside other highly skilled technicians with some of the industry's leading technology and brands.

If you have great attention to detail, are resourceful and solution focused, then there are opportunities through training, development, and guidance to improve your knowledge to a high level. The smooth running of our operations is dependent upon our collaborative approach and dedication. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of our guidelines, tailor your delivery and work within our diverse team. Open and thoughtful communication is key to ours and your success. Your Duties You'll play an essential part in your team and company success story by efficiently and effectively carrying out duties including:

  • Picking, testing, checking in, and looming / de-looming power and data cable
  • Stock management of power and data cable and warehouse equipment using the company stock control system and handheld scanners
  • Fault finding and repair of power and data cable
  • Maintaining pre‑built cable looms, including stock checking, cleaning, looming / de-looming if required
  • Inspecting, maintaining and storing cable department flight cases correctly

Standard Companywide Responsibilities Any other duties as required / authorised by management Comply with all Health and Safety requirements Comply with all Policies and Procedures Ensuring that work areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner at all times

Requirements Essential High level of both written and verbal communication in English Ability to work autonomously whilst being a real team player. Willingness to take ownership and accountability Ability to plan ahead, organise, prioritise, delegate and oversee workload. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating resilience, flexibility and ability to maintain positive relationships High level of attention to detail. Can‑do positive attitude Great communication skills Good MS Office applications skills – Outlook, Excel, Word. The show must go on so providing a 7‑day operation/service is key. Therefore, the ability to work paid overtime on occasions, including weekends, is essential

Desirable Knowledge of equipment used within the entertainment business. This is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
