We are recruiting a commercially minded Junior Sales Executive to support sales and bid activity in the UK electric fleet and transport decarbonisation market. This is not a graduate role. It is a hands-on commercial support position, working directly with the Sales Director on bids, proposals and live opportunities. This role particularly suits someone early in their career who enjoys structured written work, coordination and problem-solving, including candidates looking to move from consulting/analysis into a commercial role.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting live sales opportunities and bid activity across multiple customers
- Writing and coordinating bid responses, tenders, PQQs and proposals
- Managing bid inputs, timelines and internal coordination
- Maintaining sales pipeline information and opportunity tracking
- Researching customers, markets and upcoming opportunities
- Supporting sales materials, presentations and customer documentation
Candidate profile:
- Commercially focused, organised and highly self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Able to work directly with senior stakeholders and experienced professionals
- Proactive, reliable and confident managing multiple workstreams

Experience:
- 1–3 years' experience in a commercial, sales support, bid, consulting or business development role
- Experience with bid writing, tenders, or structured written responses is desirable
