Role Overview
As a Part-Time Headhunter based in our Cannock office (2 days per week on-site), you’ll be instrumental in identifying and engaging top-tier board-level talent. Working closely with our team in London, you will lead sourcing efforts in key sectors and local networks, helping clients secure NEDs aligned with their governance and strategic ambitions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead & manage searches for Non-Executive Directors, Chairs, and fractional executives locally in the Midlands/West Midlands area.
Conduct outreach and candidate engagement using networking, referrals, and direct sourcing—focusing on board-ready professionals with sector expertise.
Coordinate with London team, aligning on job briefs, candidate screening, and progressing shortlists.
Screen, interview, and assess candidates for cultural fit, governance understanding, and strategic alignment.
Maintain accurate candidate tracking and reporting, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
Support client interactions, including coordinating with Chairs, CEOs, and committees as needed.
Contribute to regional network development, attending local business events and building NED-grade relationships.

Requirements
Proven experience in executive search, recruitment, or headhunting—preferably in board-level or C-suite roles.
Strong understanding of NED governance, strategic oversight, and sector-specific challenges.
Exceptional verbal and written communication, with a consultative and discreet approach.
Well-developed network among senior executives in Midlands-based industries.
Ability to work effectively both independently (in Cannock) and collaboratively (with the London team).
Availability for two on-site days per week, with flexibility for occasional remote work or travel.
