NECTO Selection are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning Civils Contractor to appoint a new Commercial Manager to manage a well-established Commercial Team while providing Commercial Support to Project Teams. This role comes with a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package and limited travel.
Role Overview:
- Lead and mentor the commercial team, ensuring accurate cost and value reporting, cash flow updates, and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Provide commercial support, advising the project and site teams on contract obligations, risks, and settlement adjustments.
- Manage subcontract letting, negotiations, and financial accounting, while protecting the company’s commercial interests.
- Drive process improvements and foster effective collaboration between the commercial and operational site teams.
Role Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience, at senior level, of managing/supervising a team of Quantity Surveyors.
- 7+ years’ experience within Construction – Civils preferred.
- Effective communicator at all levels.
