Account Support Team leader to work within a busy internal sales team.
The role is an office based role with direct line management responsibility for a team of account support executives. As well as being responsible for line management you will also be required to maintain a customer portfolio to upsell and promote products via webinar, telephone calls and emails. Typical products and services could be additional modules, consultancy and support renewals. This role has the potential to move through the career structure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Direct line management of a team of account support executives.
- To work closely with the Team manager and other team leads to ensure that annual and monthly Sales targets are met.
- Develop relationships with other stakeholders in order to promote the Sales Desk team and actively search for opportunities to increase sales.
- Provide cover for the team manager when needed in Financial or Marketing meetings.
- Assist in formulating propositions for the team to campaign.
- Develop effective relationships at all levels within the customer base.
- Ensure that CRM is up to date and accurately reflects all opportunities.
- Taking responsibility for their teams opportunities from point of order to delivery.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policy, processes and procedures.
- Attend and participate in both internal and external meetings as directed.
- Ensure that at all times a satisfactory pipeline of future opportunity is maintained.
- Seek to provide new ideas to enhance the effectiveness of sales performance in NEC, including any new product/service ideas.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience gained in a target driven environment
- Good Leadership skills
- Demonstrable Organisational Skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM/SharePoint Would be highly advantageous
