Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Provide clear, actionable financial insights to the leadership team to improve performance and profitability.
  • Monitor departmental and project profitability, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Manage financial administration including credit control and proactive debt recovery, customer and supplier account management, processing and reconciling invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies.
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal financial controls.
  • Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
  • Produce regular KPI and performance dashboards for senior management.
  • Support business cases for strategic projects and investments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in engineering, inspection, or certification industries.
  • Knowledge of multi-currency accounting and international transactions.
  • Commutable distance to NECIT; office based role.
