Technical Casual / Freelance Event Staff

The NEC Group is seeking talented and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to create unforgettable experiences through world-class events and services.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Casual / Freelance Event Staff to join our Conventions team at the ICC in Birmingham City Centre and Vox on the NEC Campus in Solihull. These venues offer conference and meeting spaces for up to 8,000 delegates, welcoming over 350,000 delegates annually. You will be part of a first-class team renowned for delivering exceptional events.

About The Role

This role is targeted at Sound, Lighting, Video, or staging freelancers or casual technicians. We seek technicians with proven experience in the corporate live events industry. This is not a training position; you must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced live event environment.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in the live corporate events industry. Specific discipline AV knowledge is required, and secondary skills across disciplines are a bonus for small hall technicians.
