Overview
In this role you will install, upgrade, and support the full application stack across on-premise and cloud environments. You will work with a mix of customers to ensure smooth upgrade cycles and reliable operation of our software. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, implement backups, and deliver professional, solution-driven support. This position offers exposure to a diverse tech stack and a mission to support critical public services through robust software delivery. You will contribute to expanding our customer base by ensuring high-quality, dependable deployments.

Responsibilities
- Apply software updates to customer non-production and production systems
- Perform technology upgrades including Oracle Database, Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, and Jasper Reports Server
- Install new company software
- Troubleshoot installation and upgrade issues
- Perform scripted backup and restore tasks
- Communicate with customers professionally and solution-driven
- Collaborate with team to troubleshoot problems and share workloads
Key requirements
- Oracle Database 19c management including upgrades (single instance and container databases)
- Installing and maintaining software on Oracle Linux or Red Hat Linux
- Direct customer interaction via video conference and email
- Desirable: deployment of Apache Tomcat based web applications
- Desirable: Apache Web Server configuration and management
- Desirable: Installing and maintaining software on Microsoft Windows Server
- Desirable: Linux bash scripting
- Desirable: Ansible scripted backups and recovery
- Desirable: understanding of private network architectures or DMZs
