We are looking for a passionate and experienced Software Product Owner to join our dynamic product team.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Vision and Strategy: Assist in defining and managing the product vision, ensuring that it aligns with the overall company and product strategy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, sales, marketing and software development teams to gather, analyse and prioritise product requirements ensuring alignment and supporting new business opportunities.
- User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Facilitate the decomposition of business requirements and produce Use Cases and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria that can be understood and acted upon by the software engineers to guide the development process.
- Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings, ensuring the team understands the product backlog and priorities.
- Product Roadmap: Assist in maintaining a product roadmap that outlines the product's evolution, key milestones and backlog.
- Market Research: Assist with competitive analysis to help inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Release Management: Coordinate product releases, ensuring timely delivery and communication with stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management in the SaaS or software sector.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to support the creation of sound product strategies and help to convert these into executable plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Aha!).
- An understanding of the public safety market is preferable but not essential.
