Are you ready to embark on an exhilarating journey as a Product Manager for NEC Housing? In this pivotal role, you'll help shape and deliver cutting-edge products for the Social Housing sector. Your Role

  • Collaborate with a team of specialized Product Managers to create user-friendly, streamlined end-to-end processes.
  • Engage in market assessments, customer consultations, and requirements decomposition.
  • Support build and final test verification, ensuring our platform meets customer challenges.
  • Focus on continual improvement of the NEC Housing platform to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to understand the legislative, regulatory, and competitive landscape.
  • Work with customers through co-design workshops and User Group sessions to gather insights.
  • Define customer business needs and align them with product strategy.
  • Stay updated on technology advancements to keep us competitive.
  • Build business cases for market uptake, pricing, and margin analysis.
  • Manage requirements with third-party suppliers and systems integrators.
  • Support the team in defining and maintaining the product roadmap.
  • Assist the Pre-Sales/Sales team with bid responses and sales proposals.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams for a strong understanding of end-to-end processes.
  • Produce and deliver engaging presentations for customers and internal audiences.
  • Support product launch activities.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience in UK Social Housing, either as a customer or software solution provider.
  • Strong knowledge of project life-cycle methodologies and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.
  • Familiarity with housing management systems or related software.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Proven ability to build relationships and understand client perspectives.
  • Effective time management and resource allocation skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Full, valid UK/EC driving license for travel.
  • Experience in end-to-end product life cycle management.
  • Experience designing digital solutions for the social housing sector, including mobile apps and web platforms.
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma and JIRA.
