The Opportunity
We are seeking an HR Data & Reporting Specialist – SAP SuccessFactors to join our Global HR Transformation team. This role is critical to the success of NEC’s global HR platform, with responsibility for data migration, reporting, analytics, and system integrations across SAP SuccessFactors and enterprise data platforms. You will work closely with global HR stakeholders, system integrator partners, and data teams to ensure accurate data, trusted reporting, and scalable HR analytics solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Data Migration & Data Strategy
- Deliver standardised data templates and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions with global stakeholders.
- Conduct pre‑load validations, execute data loads, troubleshoot technical issues, and clearly communicate data risks.
- Lead business data readiness activities, including data collection, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Build, test, and execute data uploads across Development, UAT, and Pre‑Production environments, ensuring formal sign‑off in line with project governance.
- Collaborate with system integrator partners to assess data readiness and support data workstreams across all SAP SuccessFactors modules.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Analyse reporting requirements and document them using standard templates for SuccessFactors reports and Stories.
- Design and deliver dashboards and visualisations aligned with HR and business needs, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with global reporting standards, including legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop reporting solutions that evolve as business and HR requirements change.
- System Integration & ETL
- Administer reporting within SAP SuccessFactors and external platforms such as Tableau Cloud and Snowflake.
- Build and configure APIs between SAP SuccessFactors and enterprise data platforms to support the creation of an HR Data Lake for NEC overseas companies.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation to ensure integrity across integrated systems.
- Support ETL processes, data modelling, and data profiling activities across the HR technology ecosystem.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in SAP SuccessFactors data migration, reporting development, and administration.
- Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, including VBA, alongside strong SQL skills.
- Advanced knowledge of database models, data warehousing, and data management principles.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and experience delivering HR analytics and reporting solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with data modelling, data profiling, ETL processes, and data management within SAP SuccessFactors.
- Knowledge of global data protection, privacy, and ethical data use.
- A future‑focused mindset with a passion for HR technology and innovative analytics tools.
Desirable (but Not Essential)
- Experience with Tableau Cloud and Snowflake.
- Experience supporting large‑scale, global HR transformation programmes.
