Position Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Product Assurance Lead to take responsibility for quality assurance activities across complex space projects. This role requires coordination with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure full compliance with customer requirements, project timelines, and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Definition and maintenance of product assurance standards in alignment with customer requirements.
- Act as the primary interface for all quality‑related matters with the customer.
- Lead the product assurance team within the project framework.
- Coordinate support from product assurance experts within the matrix organization.
- Plan and manage quality activities tailored to project-specific needs (TRBs, ARs, DRBs).
- Plan and chair major product assurance milestones (EQSRs, MRRs, TRRs, QRs).
- Prepare project audit plans and support audit execution.
- Implement and monitor non‑conformance control processes.
- Organize and chair project Non‑Conformance Review Boards (NRBs).
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, physics, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Several years of professional experience in Product Assurance, ideally within the space sector or supplier monitoring.
- Confident in making and communicating decisions with both suppliers and customers.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and highly responsible approach to work.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
