The Global Tax Team is recruiting for a senior transfer pricing professional in London. This leadership role has oversight for the Americas, Europe & Africa. London is the Regional HQ for Europe & Africa. Montreal is the global HQ for a major division and Regional HQ for the entire Americas.
You will work closely with stakeholders in both locations with direct reports in each. This broad transfer pricing role focuses on optimising transfer pricing strategies and providing strategic advisory support to global operations. You will lead the development and implementation of the transfer pricing models for several product groups and adapt them to changing global dynamics like tariffs and economic challenges, manage audit risks, and assess the feasibility of tax certainty strategies like ICAPs and APAs. You will oversee business footprint changes and develop frameworks for recharging new services and IP strategies. The role involves minimal compliance responsibilities and focuses on strategic initiatives, engaging stakeholders to map out business needs, fostering strategic partnerships with tax authorities, and optimising transfer pricing for business efficiency by delegating routine tasks and leveraging automation tools.
- Drive the development of transfer pricing strategy, including risk analysis and commercial decision making
- Oversight and maintenance of transfer pricing compliance with associated documentation and benchmarking studies (with the assistance of advisors)
- Monitor BEPS developments and advise internally
- Monitor and communicate TP legislative changes and practice
- Support business with transfer pricing audits (including the development and ownership of our response strategy)
- Lead on Advance Pricing Arrangements (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP)
- Lead the implementation of transfer pricing projects
About you:
- Minimum of 8 years transfer pricing experience
- Professionally trained, ideally Big 4 or Top Tier
- Language skills, French and English essential
- Ability to work collaboratively in a complex multinational environment
