We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our product development team as a Product Developer. You’ll work closely with colleagues across assessment and project teams to help shape products that make a real difference to learners and workplaces around the world.
Overview
What you will be doing:
- Development of new health, safety and environmental products (including courses, qualifications and supporting materials);
- Review and maintain existing products;
- Helping achieve and maintain accreditation with regulatory authorities and professional bodies.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Be a qualified occupational safety and health (OSH) practitioner, with practical experience in applying OSH principles in the workplace;
- Knowledge of the environment NEBOSH operates in;
- Knowledge of NEBOSH products and services;
- Excellent written and verbal communications;
- Working in accordance with quality, environmental and health and safety management systems;
- Promoting a culture of health and wellbeing and developing a positive working environment through good practice, communication, and support.
Key skills and attributes for the job
- Hold the NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals, or equivalent level health and safety qualification (e.g. NVQ).
- Experience in product development and assessment is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in project management is desirable but not essential.
- Have a positive attitude to change and the ability to be creative.
- Be agile in their approach to their work and their workplace.
- Ideally hold a current driving license and/or be willing to use public transport to attend meetings throughout the UK when required.
- Experience of delivering training and/or presenting would also be advantageous.
What we offer
- Working week: 35 hours Monday – Friday;
- Work base: We have adopted a hybrid working environment which allows you to work remotely as well as from the NEBOSH offices in Leicestershire (close to Fosse Park and M1);
- £44,301.30 per annum;
- Other benefits: 25 days’ annual leave increasing with service.
