We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Officer (Graduation & Marketing Administration) to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the smooth delivery of our graduation ceremonies, events and marketing activities, working closely with colleagues, Learning Partners and external suppliers.
What you’ll be doing
- Undertake a wide range of duties relating to event and graduation logistics, travel, communication, delivery and post-event reporting.
- Provide administrative support for planning and organising graduation ceremonies, conferences, and other large-scale events.
- Liaise with suppliers, employees and internal stakeholders to support event delivery.
- Manage, validate, and manipulate attendee and event-related data for graduations and other events, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Produce confirmation letters and VISA invitation documents.
- Monitor shared inboxes, triage queries, and deliver high‑quality customer service.
- Assign, escalate and resolve enquiries through the ticketing system.
- Raise and track Purchase Orders, ensuring correct coding and budget alignment.
- Schedule meetings and support wider marketing activities as required.
What you’ll bring
- Proven senior administrative experience, ideally including event support and data handling.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working at pace.
- Experience in handling large volumes of data and dealing with large datasets.
- Experience producing high‑quality written communications with a confident telephone manner.
- A collaborative approach, with confidence engaging with colleagues, suppliers and learners.
- Strong IT skills across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Understanding of GDPR and secure data practices.
- Ability to use initiative and work without close supervision.

- Working week: 35 hours Monday – Friday
- Work base: You will be based in the office in Leicestershire (close to Fosse Park and M1) with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
