What is the role? As a Data Scientist, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission‑driven journey. Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence, your responsibilities will include:

  • Programming: High proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Databricks, Python, R and SQL.
  • Statistics and Probability: Understanding of statistical concepts.
  • Data Wrangling and Database Management: Skills in data cleaning, transformation, and database handling.
  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning: Familiarity with relevant techniques and frameworks. Experience using Databricks would be a massive advantage.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to communicate findings effectively through the use of Power BI, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Advanced skills: in managing & manipulating databases, both relational & non‑relational.
  • Proficiency: in data lineage techniques to track data origin, movement & transformation across systems.
  • Familiarity: with various data architecture frameworks & their implementation in enterprise environments.
  • Effective Business Stakeholder Management at All Levels: Engaging with diverse business teams to offer valuable insights into future performance, collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive data‑driven decision‑making, and possessing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled: in managing expectations & delivering results that align with business objectives.
  • Collaboration: with IT Colleagues & Subject Matter Experts: Proven ability to work closely with IT teams & experts to understand & solve technical challenges, facilitating cross‑functional teams to gather requirements & develop IT solutions, and translating business needs into technical requirements & vice versa.
