Location: Leicester – Hybrid

Salary - £36,000 per annum

Job summary: We are looking for a Corporate (Publications) Senior Specialist to join our Business Development team and play a key role in growing revenue from publications, learning materials and licensing opportunities.

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is the world’s leading provider of health, safety and environmental qualifications.

About the role:

Reporting to the Corporate Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of NEBOSH publications and associated learning resources. This is a multi-faceted role that combines business development, account management, e-commerce and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and prospective clients.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales of publications, learning materials and licensing arrangements.
  • Support and deliver promotional campaigns and commercial initiatives.
  • Manage and optimise the NEBOSH Shopify e-commerce platform.
  • Use Salesforce CRM to manage customer relationships, sales activity and reporting.
  • Monitor sales performance and deliver against agreed targets and KPIs.
  • Analyse customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to ensure a seamless customer journey and maximise commercial impact.
  • Represent NEBOSH at meetings, events and industry activities as required.

Some UK and occasional international travel may be required.

About you:

We're looking for someone who combines commercial awareness with strong relationship-management skills. You'll be proactive, organised and motivated by achieving results, while also being comfortable working collaboratively across different teams.

You will ideally have:

  • At least two years' experience in a business development, account management, sales or customer relationship role.
  • Experience of working with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
  • Experience of using e-commerce platforms, ideally Shopify.
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A positive, curious and customer-focused approach.
  • The confidence to identify opportunities and take ownership of delivering results.

Working week:

35 hours Monday – Friday.

Location:

Hybrid – Leicester office (close to Fosse Park and M1). You will be required to attend the Leicester office for meetings.

Salary:

£36,000 per annum
