The role: Nebius Group is on the lookout for a talented Legal Counsel to join our IP&IT Law team. If you have at least 3 years of post-graduate experience in a legal firm or tech company and a passion for intellectual property and IT law, we want you to be part of our innovative team!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting legal reviews of license and SaaS agreements, including essential corporate software, as well as software integral to our core products.
  • Collaborating with local and commercial lawyers to review IP terms in various agreements, including service and sales contracts.
  • Managing IP outsourcing agreements with designers, photographers, and software developers, ensuring compliance and protecting our interests.
  • Providing legal analysis and advice on a wide range of IP-related issues, helping to navigate complex legal landscapes.
  • Addressing open-source matters, from license analysis to compliance implementation, while advising our business and engineering teams on best practices.
  • Tackling other IP-related challenges as they arise, contributing to our strategic goals.

We expect you to have:

  • A legal degree from a top-tier university in the EU or the US.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience with legal firms or technology companies.
  • Exceptional contract drafting and legal writing skills, along with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven experience with IP-related transactions, including software development commissioning, technology licensing, and trademark issues.
