Nebihe Cihan Studio is seeking a talented and experienced interior architect to join its London studio. The role includes responsibility for supporting projects across all RIBA stages, from concept development through to completion on site while working closely with the creative director and wider project team. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing technical tender drawing packages, bespoke furniture designs and client presentation materials for high-end residential interior projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce furniture layouts based on clients’ requirements.
  • Develop detailed design drawings and tender packages using AutoCAD.
  • Produce and review detailed joinery drawings.
  • Design bespoke furniture and prepare technical furniture drawings for pricing both in 2D and 3D.
  • Prepare client presentations using Adobe InDesign.
  • Coordinate with external consultants including contractors, structural engineers, lighting designers, landscape designers and local architects.
  • Attend client and site meetings as required.
  • Support the project team throughout all stages of the design process.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work and experience delivering projects across all RIBA stages.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in high-end residential interiors in a similar role.
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience with SketchUp, 3ds Max or other rendering software.
  • Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Must be based in London and available to work from the Chelsea studio.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
