About Us
We help manufacturers and retailers make their products easier to find and buy. As a Google Cloud partner specialising in AI-powered search and agentic commerce, we work with established brands across beauty, sporting goods, and manufacturing in the UK, France, and the US.
The Role
We are growing our London team, and this is a role with real ownership from the start. You will sit where engineering meets consulting: close enough to the client to shape what gets built, and close enough to the code to build it yourself. You will run technical discovery, architect solutions, build the prototypes that win new work, and lead the proposals and demonstrations that turn a client's interest into signed engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Partner with customers to gather and refine requirements, run technical discovery, and define the scope for search and agentic solutions.
- POC & Prototype Development: Rapidly build, test, and iterate on internal Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prototypes using Next.js, Node.js, and Python, which we use to demonstrate the art of the possible and win new work.
- Solution Design & Architecture: Architect scalable, secure, and performant solutions utilising Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, and lead integration efforts across customer systems and third-party platforms.
- Technical Advisory: On client engagements, advise on architecture and engineering approach, review code and design decisions, and guide the customer's own teams on how to build well, rather than writing all the production code yourself.
- Presales & Proposals: Work with our sales conversations to create technical proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and support proof-of-concept engagements.
- Implementation & Deployment: Help transition successful prototypes into production-ready enterprise search experiences and automated workflows, ensuring solutions are performant, scalable, and aligned with client goals.
What You'll Need
- Strong technical skills: a full-stack engineer (Python, Node.js, Next.js) who isn't afraid of working with data.
- Strong communication skills: translating business needs into technical solutions, and explaining both clearly to technical and non-technical people.
- Someone who takes ownership and enjoys both building and advising.

How to prepare for a job interview at Nebbiu
✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. ✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions
While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
