Neathouse Partners is looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role that combines providing expert employment law advice with hands-on HR consultancy work, supporting business owners and managers across a range of industries.

The Role
As an HR Consultant, you will have a varied role that includes both employment law advisory work and hands-on HR consultancy services. You will be responsible for:
- Providing expert advice to clients on employment law matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies (including collective redundancy), TUPE, discrimination, and unfair dismissal.
- Drafting employment contracts, policies, and other key HR documents.
- Chairing and managing formal HR processes, including disciplinaries, grievances, and redundancy consultations on behalf of clients.
- Delivering training sessions for business owners and managers on key HR and employment law topics.
- Supporting HR projects such as restructures, policy implementation, and workforce planning.
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law while offering commercially focused, pragmatic solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Significant experience in both employment law advisory work and hands-on HR consultancy.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations.
- Experience in chairing disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies (including collective redundancy), and TUPE consultations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience training and advising senior leaders and business owners.
- A commercially minded approach to problem-solving, ensuring clients receive practical and strategic guidance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client matters simultaneously.
