Hours: 37 hours per week/Term Time 41 weeks per year

Location of post: Various Schools throughout Neath Port Talbot

Workstyle: You will work from a fixed workplace in a different school each day.

We are currently looking for a Primary School Bursar to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the School’s Senior Management Team, taking a lead role to ensure the smooth and effective running of your group of schools. In this rewarding position you will work in close partnership with our schools, providing dedicated support to Headteachers across the Primary Sector through a direct service agreement, helping to drive success and maintain high standards across all areas of school operations.

The main duties of the post include:

  • Preparing and managing school budgets
  • Conducting monthly financial monitoring
  • Overseeing and tracking grant expenditure
  • Supporting HR administration, including managing sickness absence
  • Assisting with the management of building facilities
  • Contributing to Health and Safety management

You will have experience in:

  • Leading and managing staff
  • Working in a leadership or senior role
  • Using Microsoft applications particularly Word and Excel

Ideally you will have:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSE’s (Grades A-C) or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics.
